Gestational Carrier and Surrogacy

Turning Dreams into Reality.

A surrogacy arrangement involves a third-party female carrying a pregnancy for intended parent(s). A surrogate, or traditional surrogate, refers to a woman who shares a genetic link to the child.

A gestational surrogate also known as gestational carrier is a woman who carries and delivers a child for another couple or individual (the intended parents). She does not have any biological connection to the child.

A gestational carrier may be needed when:

  • An intended parent is infertile because of a problem with their uterus.
  • An intended parent cannot be pregnant or give birth due to serious medical or psychological condition that place them or the foetus at risk.
  • A person has had a hysterectomy or has a uterine malformation.
  • The intended parent is biologically incapable of conceiving or bearing a child, such single person or gay male couple.
  • If you need surrogacy contact Reprolab to discuss the process and costs of treatment (artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization). Reprolab helps match you with a gestational carrier and helps establish legal agreements (contracts) between the intended parents and the carrier.
